EMERGE Children

EMERGE is devoted to helping families hand off a robust and enduring faith to the next generation of believers.

Our many years of experience with children's and youth ministry leads us to strongly believe that this is best done by the following five qualities active in their lives:

Strong Families

At EMERGE we recognize that families come in all different shapes and sizes. How ever your family looks, our goal is to strengthen you so you can strengthen your child. A child is only as strong as his/her family.

Peer Relationships

Children need to be around other kids who share their ideas and concepts of life and to have a place where they feel safe and accepted.

They also need to have fun!.

Intergenerational Mentoring

There comes a time when a child looks to other people for guidance and to reinforce the values of their family. At EMERGE your child will find many such mentors from college age students to grandparents. It really does take a village to raise a child.

Discipleship

Young people need to know who Jesus Christ is, what He has done and how to bear His image.  The most important tasks we have been given is to love God and to love His people. Therefore, we take time to teach our children about their relationship with God the father, Jesus Christ, his son and the Holy Spirit.  Our focus is making sure they know the character of Christ so that they are able to emulate Him in their daily lives. We believe young people should be learning how to engage their faith in an active way.

Service

There comes a time in the life of a child (and frankly adults too) where growth in faith is not simply a matter of learning more data, it’s learning to serve one another. At EMERGE, we strive to model and to teach your child the value of service.

Jesus said, “ I didn’t come to be served but to serve.”
